Education Advisers is an exciting education consultancy specialising in the private school sector. We run 8 very successful UK school choice websites and advise thousands of parents on the right school for their child. We have just launched the first video boarding school choice website – www.boarding-schools.tv We are the only education consultancy to publish online comprehensive up to date league tables of independent schools. Because this brings us into contact with so many independent schools, we also do marketing consultancy for schools ranging from new websites / prospectuses / DVDs to recruitment strategy. It is a result of this expansion in school marketing that we need a Development Director to drive the company onto its next strategic phase.

We are seeking an energetic and experienced marketing person to effectively promote our services to schools. The right candidate will have

• Experience of the UK independent schools system
• Knowledge of online marketing
• An ability to communicate effectively at a senior level within school management
• A track record of success
• Lots of energy with a determination to succeed

Education Advisers is based at 2 offices in West Sussex and Surrey, but operates a “virtual office environment” such that staff can work largely from their own home as a base. We are driven by technology and use the internet extensively to access company resources from any location.

All staff and business partners of EA work on a performance reward basis. We do not pay salaries, but effective staff and partners get rewarded with a significant share of company earnings plus a sweat equity agreement (share options). So please do not apply if you are not happy with such an arrangement – we are not the right place for someone just made redundant with a huge mortgage to keep up! On the other hand, if you want a really exciting role in a rapidly expanding company, let’s have a chat. We will also consider proposals from those willing to merge their businesses with us.
